My name is Li Xu, currently I am teachinfg Foundation and Art Education at the University of Wyoming.​

A consistent theme through my research is my ongoing dedication to thinking through art, pedagogy and philosophy in a variety of contexts both inside and outside formal schooling. My research interests include traditional Chinese philosophy, philosophy of art and aesthetics, phenomenology, art education, visual cultures, the digital milieu, and environmental humanities. I have published peer-reviewed articles in philosophy, aesthetics, art education, and philosophy of education. My papers appear in Studies in Philosophy and Education and research in Arts and Education Journal.
